Will the licensing scheme ever change?

Possibly! It's still early days so we're offering what amounts to a lifetime license for $9.99.

We may choose to switch to a different model in the future, but existing licenses will not be affected. A license purchased now will continue to work regardless of future changes to the licensing scheme.
